I have just ended a postdoc at Masaryk University, during which I have been collaborating with Prof. Jiří Rosický on several ongoing projects which involve scrabbling around in the margins between abstract model theory (AECs, mostly) and categorical model theory (accessible categories, mostly), and pulling concepts and results from each to the other. See the links at the left for more information.
Please note that beginning September 1st, I will be employed full-time at Department of Mathematics at the Brno University of Technology.
Česká verze: Jmenuji se Michael Lieberman. Jsem puvodně ze Spojených států, ale v Brně bydlím už pět let, pořád pracuji jako vědecký pracovník na přírodovědecké fakultě Masarykovy Univerzity. Od 1.9. budu pracovat na VUT v Brně na plný úvazek. Zajímám se převážně o matematickou logiku a o abstraktní teorii modelů.
